God blessed the Society this year with another large crop of ordinations, following in the wake of last year's record setting numbers. At St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary nine new priests were ordained by His Excellency Alfonso de Galarreta on June 18, 2010, the feast of St. Ephrem. |

To celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the chief function for which the priest is ordained. The first time—and indeed every time—a priest offers Mass is always a momentous occasion on account of the infinite dignity of Christ who makes this oblation through him.
